Roman Reigns Battles On Despite Being Hit By Briefcase Thrown By Fan
Roman Reigns demonstrated what a trooper he is once again this weekend by continuing a live event match in Canada after he was struck by a briefcase by a fan.
A 31-year-old male was immediately removed from the show in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday and arrested after hurling the Money in the Bank replica into the ring while Reigns was battling Bray Wyatt.
Reigns - who had his back turned to the fan when the case hit him - appeared to be shook up by the incident, spending a few minutes regaining his composure in the corner of the ring as the referee liased with security.
Nonetheless, the 30-year-old managed to finish the bout.
Victoria police spokesman Sgt. Bryan Edwards is reported to have told The Canadian Press news agency the fan had "snuck" the briefcase into the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
It is believed charges were dropped after the fan apologised.
The fan has been banned from all future WWE events.
