WWE Star Tyson Kidd Reveals 'Only 5% SURVIVE' Neck Injury He Suffered Last Month
Tyson Kidd has revealed a frightening statistic about the neck injury he suffered last month.
The Canadian ace, 34, tweeted he considered himself “lucky” to survive, having undergone surgery that left him with a huge scar.
He tweeted yesterday:
5% of people survive this injury. 16 staples, 4 screws and a rod later and luckily I survived to tell my story. pic.twitter.com/hXpXpA0aAF
His wife and fellow WWE superstar Natalya commented on her Instagram: "May your story inspire others in their recovery.”
Tyson was hurt during an untelevised match against Samoa Joe in early June.
According to reports not confirmed by WWE, he may be out of action for over a year.
Despite the terrifying nature of his injury, the brave cat-loving star is maintaing an upbeat and frequently irreverent tone on social media, including tweeting along to a bizarre Total Divas scenario last night which saw Nattie 'hiring' a dominatrix.
"If cat is the safe word I'm screaming cat 20 mins ago," he tweeted.
