WWE's Big Show Reveals He'd Love A Role In Game Of Thrones
WWE legend Big Show fancies a crack at tearing it up in Game of Thrones.
The star of Vendetta told MTV UK he hopes to land more acting roles in future - and having been linked with the fantasy drama series before, Show reckons he would be a perfect fit.
"I’d love to have a chance to do something in Game of Thrones because it is so well written and it is such a period fantasy piece,” he said.
"The main thing is just getting yourself out there and start letting people know you want to do this stuff. There’s a lot of big guys out there with a lot of talent, especially in Hollywood so for me I have to leave a world I've got respect and experience in and go out there and pound the streets, audition for parts and earn the roles.
"It is one thing to get roles in WWE-produced films - sure, I’m a staple in that respect, they put great actors around me so I can learn on the job, so to speak. But for me, I look forward to doing more film and TV roles. Its exciting and the next part of my evolution."
Show was previously linked with the part of The Mountain, played by Icelandic strongman Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson. Coincidentally, Björnsson attended NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable as a guest of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in May.

"Right, right," said Show, who challenges Ryback for the Intercontinental championship in a three-way match that also includes Miz at SummerSlam this weekend.
"It was a great part and there were a lot of rumours flying around that when they were looking to cast that part that it was going to be me.
"Unfortunately I was on a full time schedule with WWE at the time, so I knew it wasn’t going to be me but it was nice that people thought it should’ve been me.
"That’s the great thing about Game of Thrones - I've read all the books, so there are a lot of opportunities for someone like me to find a part in it and if it works out that’s a great part to have listed on your CV."
Despite a long list of TV and film credits, Show regards The Rock and the late Roddy Piper as the finest wrestlers to make an impact in Hollywood.
He said: "When you talk about movies and acting, there’s obviously one star that blows everyone else out of the water, and that’s The Rock.
"We always knew The Rock was something special. When he did Rundown, I really enjoyed that and it was that film that made me a fan of him as an actor.
"But obviously it is hard to forget about Roddy's contributions, he was the best."
