WWE's Christian Sounds Like He's Done In The Ring
He hasn't ever confirmed his retirement from the ring, but it certainly sounds as if former two-time champ Christian is done with bending bones.
Asked how he was adjusting to "civilian' life on last night's WWE Network Stone Cold Podcast, the 41-year-old admitted the change had been a “little bit of a culture shock”.
He said: "You’re used to going all the time, so weeks kind of bleed into each other at times.
"When you’re on the home [as a wrestler], you do your laundry, pack up and you head back out. It becomes a routine and you’re used to it.
"When you are supposed to decompress from that, it is a little bit of a culture shock. You really don’t know what to do with yourself.
"I was always in my wife’s way and she was urging me to go out and do something."
Referring to long-term partner and childhood mate Edge’s role in Haven, Christian continued: "Luckily I had a friend with a TV show that could put me on it."
Captain Charisma also joked he was spending lots of time playing fantasy sports.
"I’m also a very well respected fantasy hockey general manager, so I’ve got a lot on my plate,” he smiled.
