John Cena Making WWE Comeback At Hell In A Cell
Wounded grappler set to return to the ring months sooner than expected...
John Cena will be returning to the WWE ring later this month, making his comeback in a Hell In A Cell match against Alberto Del Rio.
The multi-time champ, 36, revealed in August that he was undergoing surgery for a torn tricep - and that he'd be out of competition for up to six months.
But it has now been revealed that he will be fighting again on 27 October, when this year's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view event goes down in Florida.
The grappler tweeted: "You heard it on #RAW, @WWE Universe. Hell in a Cell vs. @VivaDelRio for the WHC. The Champ is... Back! #EvenStronger"
But former WWE official Jimmy Korderas tweeted his doubts about the timescale.
He wrote: "I will be extremely shocked if Cena is ready to go by HIAC PPV. He is a machine but so soon???"
However Cena's opponent Del Rio had no such worries - and has already got the trash talk started.
He wrote: "#JohnCena doesn't care about u,he only cares about himself I'm the real #champion I represent everybody peasants and high class ppl like ME"
No prizes for guessing who's supposed to be the baddie then.
