One Direction hunk Louis Tomlinson has been showing his support for The X Factor reject Sam Callahan.
The singer posed for a snap with Sam backstage before the results show last night - which saw the young hopeful [uuid=9362201d-b202-44a5-bb3a-9f4c71e37d4f]lose out in the sing-off[/uuid] against Luke Friend.

But Sam has been staying upbeat since the bad news, telling fans how much he loves them on Twitter.
He wrote: "YOU LOT MEAN THE ABSOLUTE WORLD TO ME.. ITS BEEN THE MOST AMAZIN RIDE AND IM PROUD YOU COULD BE A PART OF IT. THIS.. IS THE BEGINNING!!!"
And he shared a snap of himself with a beer bottle, writing: "Cheers... to the beginning of the most amazing adventure ever known to man! #CallafanArmy"
Sam also thanked fans for their concerns but insisted he was handling things well.
He wrote this morning: "Thank you for all your amazing supportive tweets guys! I'm fine.. onwards and upwards! This is gonna be a hell of a ride!!! Haha xxx"
