Cher Lloyd: "I Deserve To Be On The X Factor"
The 17-year old defends Chezza's decision to put her through...
Lloyd told X magazine: “I know I didn’t do too well at Cheryl’s house, but I do deserve to be in the show. I know what I’m capable of, I just need to work at it."
“I’m not a one-trick pony – I’m not just the white girl that raps. I’m no Whitney, I’m no Beyonce, but there’s lots I can do.
She continued: “I’m doing OK. I’ve got my voice back, I’ve got my falsetto back. Now I’m just practising. It’s getting quite intense, but I’m more excited than nervous at this point.”
The star also claimed that she is 'delighted' to be working with the Fight For This Love hitmaker, adding: "I'm over the moon we've got Cheryl. I honestly don't think there could have been anyone more perfect."
Reports this morning have suggested that Cher, Katie Waissel and Rebecca Ferguson could be joined by reject Treyc Cohen.
Rumours have claimed that Chezza has chosen the 26-year old as her wildcard over Zimbabwean-born singer Gamu, who was reportedly dropped from the competition over fears her visa would not be renewed.
