She may not have made it through to the final three, but The X Factor's Cher Lloyd could still come out of the competition a winner following reports that Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am planning to take her "under his wing".

The Sun claims that Lloyd was comforted by the US popstar after she being eliminated in Sunday night's show.
"He vowed to help her grow and develop as a recording artist," a source told paper.
"Will also spoke to her family, promising them he'll try to make her a star."
After suffering accusations of stroppiness during the competition itself, Cher seems to have a positive attitude now that it's over, saying:

"I got to stand on the biggest stage in the country and perform time after time.
