Cheryl Cole has put to bed rumours that she will be rejoining theX Factor judging panel.

The Simon Cowell hinting at [uuid=46bcb0a8-a9f3-479d-a333-fa39321bc25b]her return[/uuid] last month.

Earlier this week, The Daily Star claimed Chezza had thrashed out a contract with SiCo - said to be worth £2million - with a source telling the tabloid that her comeback is the music mogul's "main priority".

They explained: "All this talk of Nicole’s dealis premature. The only judge in talks is Cheryl.

“Talks have been going on for weeks and Simon has been doing everything to persuade her. ­Finally she has agreed. Simon believed Cheryl’s return was the key to his new ideas for the show."

The insider added: “Nicole’s not been completely ruled out – but not for the £3m some have suggested. Only Simon earns that.”

However, Cole appeared the rubbish the rumours on Twitter last night (January 8), writing: "Same rumours different day/year."

At the end of last series, panelists Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh all confirmed their departure, with Nicole Scherzinger still yet to announce her return.
