Cheryl Hints She Won't Be Back For X Factor Next Year
Judge admits it’s been 'very emotional' following the exit of Lauren Platt…
When asked if she would be back for next year’s series, Cheryl said: "That’s a question Simon would have to ask me himself.
"Then I would have to talk about it because it’s been very emotional."
The I Don't Care singer saw her final act leave the talent show this weekend. Lauren Platt lost out in the sing off to Andrea Faustini.
The Mirror reports that Cheryl felt her time on the show had been tough.
She said: “You get attached, you try not to but we’re human at the end of the day, you can’t help but feel the emotion, it’s tough."
According to The Sun, show insiders believe Cowell has not made the request yet - but he does believe the current panel is one of the best.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Lauren, 17, praised her mentor, who has formed a strong bond with her during the series.
"She is the most incredible, strongest woman I've ever met in my life," said Lauren.
"She's so hands-on - she had me around her house countless times this week preparing for whatever way the show might have gone this weekend."
