Cheryl has revealed that boss Simon Cowell calls her in the early hours of the morning to discuss ideas for the X Factor.

Speaking to The Metro, the I Don't Care singer claimed SiCo often interrupts her beauty sleep, stating: "Simon likes to call at three in the morning.

"He is there and thinking about the show and thinking about pyrotechnics. He’s such a perfectionist."

[related]After his 'Kermit' jibe over the weekend about her Lanvin gown, Chezza went on to say: "It was an obvious thing to say because it was green.

"Simon looks like Zig and Zag. But I did find that funny."

She continued: "Last time I wore a David Koma disk dress, as soon as I sat down he gave me a look and said, 'What the bloody hell have you got on?'.

‘When I sat in the green dress he looked at us, and I thought, 'Oh here we go. I was waiting'."

When asked how she plans to deal with SiCo, the Crazy Stupid Love hitmakerjoked: "I’m actually going to check if I can move chairs.

"I think Louis should sit next to Simon and then I should sit next to Mel. That might work out nicer."
