Cheryl Under Fire For Refusing To Vote

Cheryl Cole has been heavily criticised for refusing to vote on The X Factor results show last night.
Thousands of fans of the show hit Twitter, Facebook and other websites last night to vent their fury.

The Promise This singer refused to pick between her two contestants Treyc Cohen and Katie Waissel when asked by host Dermot O'Leary.
Cheryl was set to vote second but said she wanted to go last so the decision would be decided by the public in 'deadlock'. She told her mentees: “You are both talented women. I am refusing to send anyone home.”
Instead the casting vote went to Louis Walsh who voted Treyc off despite Katie breaking down during her final song and strangely speaking to the audience.
After claims that Dermot should have let Cole vote last a spokesman for The X Factor said: “Dermot was very clear. He asked Cheryl if she was refusing to vote. He told her if she refused it would simply be based on the majority. Those are the rules.”
Both Kylie Minogue and former XF winner Shayne Ward performed on the show last night before the voting drama. Dannii Minogue gave her sister 10 out of 10 for the appearance, unsurprisingly!
