Chloe Jasmine And Stephanie Nala Leave The X Factor
Pair get the boot in the second of this year's live shows...
Two more contestants have been eliminated from this year's series of The X Factor, with Stephanie Nala and then Chloe Jasmine getting their marching orders in last night's results show.
A sad Steph was the first to get the bad news - with presenter Dermot O'Leary informing her that she had polled the least number of votes from the public.
And then Chloe Jasmine and eight-member boy band Stereo Kicks were both informed that they were the next two lowest in the votes and would be competing in the sing-off.
CJ delivered a confident but heavily stylised version of oldie Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?, while the boys played a straight bat with a version of I'll Stand By You.
And the judges were split 3/1 - with only Cheryl Fernandez-Versini coming out in support of Chloe Jasmine.
On her part, the rejected singer appeared to take the news well and even had to cheer Chezza up a bit.
"Don't worry about it! Cheryl, you are absolutely wonderful, thank you for taking a chance on me," she told her mentor.
And she even managed to get a big laugh with a quip about becoming the ninth member of Stereo Kicks now.
Next week will see the contestants perform songs from the movies.
