Chloe-Jasmine On Stevi Ritchie Fling: 'It Was God's Plan'

We've seen some unlikely explanations put forward by celebs for their indiscretions in the past, but Chloe-Jasmine Whichello may just have taken the whole biscuit barrel.

The singer, who got the boot early in the live shows on The X Factor this year, has been talking to The Sun about her dalliance with rival contestant Stevi Ritchie.

"I'm not ashamed of what I did, because I believe it was part of God's divine plan," she said.

"Our romance happened very organically – we were talking about spiritual plains and then we kissed. But it was very innocent."

But while the blonde bombshell is happy to confess to her fling with Stevi now that she's no longer with her BF, another famous face on the show is less enthusiastic about being linked to him.

The Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford shut down Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh when they playfully tried to suggest she'd been enjoying the company of the cheesy crooner.

"Can we reveal what was going on? About you and Stevi?" SiCo asked her on screen.

"Oh come on, Simon," she replied. "You tried to hook me up with him and then you hijacked my date and went with him instead!"

And when Louis claimed she had "stayed the night" with Ritchie, she shot back: "No, I didn't! Don't even go there!"

Stevi got the axe from the show last night (Sunday).
