Christopher Maloney Begs For End To Web Abuse

Third-placed X Factor star pleads with Twitter users to stop bashing him...

Christopher Maloney has pleaded with fans of the show to stop sending him abuse over the internet.
Claiming that his absence from the final night of the show and the subsequent wrap party was due to a "chest infection", the controversial singer pleaded to be left alone.
He tweeted: "Please stop online abuse, all I done was follow my dream, coming 3rd was an achievement. Feel gutted I didn't win and I'm unwell right now. Please."
But the 34-year-old Liverpudlian's plea was met with a barrage of fresh abuse from users of the social networking site.
We told you yesterday how some of the other hopefuls from the show had [uuid=85be964e-c195-4c59-a7d9-86c99fa89553]joined together in a Twitter campaign[/uuid] to get Kye Sones onto the forthcoming arena tour in place of Chris.
But despite his [uuid=087a7609-32aa-4bf8-8112-a6e156d95e86]alleged four-letter outburst[/uuid] on Sunday, show bosses are now reported by The Sun to have confirmed that Chris will be on the live tour.
He has also been under fire for telling a fan to "f**k off" on a night out in Manchester last Friday, although there are claims that he was repeatedly goaded by the individual involved.
