Emeli Sande has declared that she wants to record a duet with The X Factor hopeful James Arthur.
The rising star, who had a high-profile gig at the London Olympics and is heading for the top of the charts with Labrinth this weekend, said she thinks James is "brilliant".
Speaking to Metro, she said: "I really like James Arthur. I haven't watched too much but I definitely saw his performance at the beginning. He just blew me away.
"I met him at the weekend and I'd love to get in the studio with him. I think he'd be great. He's brilliant."
But she admitted that the reality show route to fame would not have been for her, saying: "I think I'd try any other route than doing it. I couldn't face going on that stage every week, it's nerve-wracking."
James was in the news yesterday after being accused of copying his song at the weekend from a YouTube performer.
