Frankie Cocozza has been firmly put in his place by footballer Wayne Rooney after making a joke about the Manchester United star on Twitter.
The 18-year-old singer, who was chucked off The X Factor for taking cocaine, used the hashtag #CelebsThatLookLikeTheyStink to say "Not really a celeb but I bet his pits are stinking, along with his breath" - with a link to Roo's Twitter feed.
But the fiery footy ace wasn't in the mood to take that, and hit back by saying: "sorry who are u again. Oh yeah i remember ur the kid who was on x factor who couldnt sing".
To which Frankie responded: "Just got merked by Rooney, personally I think that's quite sick."
And he later issued the sort of apology that would probably have earned him a punch if he'd delivered it in person.
He tweeted: "thankyou for making my day, knew I'd hit a nerve. I don't like you atall.. But bring home the goods this summer please."
