Hannah Barrett Gets The X Factor Boot
Teenage hopeful loses out in sing-off against Rough Copy...
Hannah Barrett has become the latest act to get the boot from The X Factor, after losing in the sing-off against Rough Copy.
The 17-year-old hopeful performed Etta James' classic I Would Rather Go Blind, but three of the four judges preferred the lads' version of Oasis' Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
Hannah's mentor on the show Nicole Scherzinger declared that she was "furious" with the public for putting her in the bottom two for the third time.
But despite shedding a few tears, Barrett took the news well and said: "I just want to say I feel so blessed. I'm so thankful for everything I have."
And she said there were no hard feelings with fellow Croydon youngsters Rough Copy - who she said she regards as her "brothers".
One Direction, Jessie J, Mary J Blige and JLS were the musical guests on the results show.
The remaining finalists joined JLS on stage at the start of the programme to perform the boy band's hit Everybody In Love.
Simon Cowell last week confirmed that he intends to return to the show.
