Jade Ellis Hits Out At The X Factor Sing-Off
Rejected hopeful says she doesn't think judges are playing fair with their voting...
Jade Ellis has hit out at The X Factor's elimination process - claiming that the sing-off is not judged on merit.
Speaking to The Mirror, the 25-year-old said: "Judges are thinking about their own acts as well as the acts on stage.
"Although people are saying I was better in the sing-off, I believe the judges' decision is taken about the whole show."
Jade's version of Dido's White Flag was widely hailed as superior to Union J's effort in the sing-off on Sunday - but the judges still voted three-to-one to keep the boy band in.
"I have sung that song loads of times and I know I sang it to a high standard," Jade continued.
"If that wasn’t enough to save me then I don't honestly know what I could have done."
When asked if she thought the judges were indulging in tactical voting, she replied: "It could be."
Twitter users have accused the show's bosses of wanting to keep the boy band in the contest, assuming that they have more earning potential.
