Janet Devlin Voted Off The X Factor As Kelly Abstains
Girls' mentor refused to pick between Janet and Misha B...
The 16-year-old had been up against Misha B in the sing-off, with neither girl giving a particularly inspiring performance.
Next up was Kelly, who waffled for a bit before she was pressed by host Dermot O'Leary and informed that if she refused to choose then Janet would go home - because head judge Gary Barlow would be outvoted even if he decided to keep Janet.
This led Kelly to quickly declare that she would abstain, meaning it was the end of the road for Janet.
Janet had been the favourite to go after making a hash of the lyrics to Hanson's MMMbop on Saturday night - and Gary later confessed that he would have sent her home too.
Asked to comment as the show ended, she just said: "I'm feeling very confused. I can't wait to leave the show and get my music out there."
