Jay-Z allegedly wants to offer The X Factor finalists, Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel record deals with his European label, Takeover Roc Nation, if they do not win the competition.
According to UK MC, Tinchy Stryder, who joint owns the label with the US hip-hop mogul, Jigga is keen to tempt the girls away from Simon Cowell and is hoping to snap them up once the talent show is over.
Tinchy told the Daily Star: "Cher is a real target for Jay-Z because she's proved she can sing really well, rap - and she's got great stage presence. After Cher there's an interest in Katie too."
The Game Over rapper added: "She's quirky and no-one can argue that she doesn't bring in the headlines."
Jay-Z star has previously shown his interest in 17-year old Cher, claiming he was "very impressed" with her version of High Knock Life, so much so, he thought she should include the track on her debut album.
The Empire State Of Mind star also offered to recruit the likes of his wife Beyoncé, Kanye West and Rihanna to help work on Lloyd's LP.
