John Adeleye has become the latest contestant to leave The X Factor.
The 28-year-old was in the bottom two with Treyc Cohen. Both performed their chosen tunes – John sang Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson while Treyc chose One Night Only from Dreamgirls. In the end, all judges bar Louis Walsh chose to save Cheryl Cole’s act.
Earlier in the show, Cheryl performed Promise This for the first time, flanked by a troupe of male dancers. Despite an energetic Janet Jackson-esque dance routine, sexy Chezza gave a strong vocal performance and showed the finalists how it's done.
Old X Factor favourite Michael Bublé performed too, even breaking off his holiday to make the show! And it was another world exclusive – the first time the Canadian crooner had sung his newie Hollywood.
As is tradition, the contestants kicked off the show with a collaboration – this week it was Forget You by Cee Lo Green.
