Louis And Tulisa's X Factor Filming Hit By Storms
Tropical storms cause chaos in judges' houses stage of contest...
Filming of Louis Walsh's "judges' houses" segment on The X Factor has been hit by bad weather in the tropics.
The Sun reports that filming was thrown into chaos as the production team didn't get the balmy conditions they'd been hoping for in Bermuda.
"The weather was a nightmare," a source told the paper.
"We were promised non-stop sunshine, instead we had gales, rain, thunder and lightning. It was Bermuda's worst August in years and threw the whole schedule into chaos because we couldn't film anything in such awful conditions.
"The result was a lot of hanging around, waiting for a pocket of sun, and a lot of stress for the crew."
And the scenes with guest helper Tulisa were affected by the storms according to the mole.
"Luckily, after a long wait, we were able to film the auditions in one go. But after that brief let-up, the bad weather returned and caused more problems.
"There are scenes we had to film with Louis and Tulisa with thunder and lightning crashing in the background because we were running out of time.
"It was far from ideal and disappointing to jet the whole cast to such an exotic location only to have them all be rained on during filming."
However the source said the groups were more than happy to find Tulisa was involved in the process.
"The final six groups were delighted to have Tulisa as a guest judge because they know she knows what she's talking about.
"She proved herself when she won the show as mentor to Little Mix in series eight, so it made sense to have her back again.
"Louis also wanted someone who would be totally honest about the performances, and Tulisa was definitely honest when she was critiquing them.
"It was still a very difficult decision for Louis, though. The standard of the groups this year is high and there were no obvious weak links in the final six."
