An insider on Made In Chelsea is reported to have contradicted X Factor contestant Chloe Jasmine Whichello's claim that she has been asked to join the cast.

The singer recently told OK! magazine that she had refused because she wished to protect her personal life.

She said: "They keep asking me to be in Made In Chelsea but I'd never do it. I think it's awful that they invade your personal life, I'm too private."

However Digital Spy claims a source on the show reckons that Chloe Jasmine has never been offered a role on the hit E4 show.

Meanwhile CJ has dismissed comments by former contestant Katie Waissel that she has only been picked for the final 12 because she makes good TV.

She told Digital Spy: "I haven't read those comments and from what Cheryl has told me she put me through because I was different. And she said that I sang my socks off in front of Tinie Tempah.

"She did take a risk by picking me because my Boot Camp performance wasn't as it should have been - I had a really sore throat, I could barely speak - but I just feel very honoured and blessed to be here."

The live shows begin on The X Factor this weekend, when the final 12 acts and an as-yet-undecided wildcard hopeful will be doing battle.
