Mel B Picks Her Final Three X Factor Boys
Disappointment for three acts as they lose out in Mexico...
The X Factor judge Mel B has selected the three boys she'll be taking into the TV talent show's live phase.
Jake Quickenden, Paul Akister and Andrea Faustini were her selections, made with the assistance of her former Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton.
Which meant that Danny Dearden, Jordan Morris and Jack Walton were cut from the contest.
Describing Jake as being "the whole package", Mel then appeared to backtrack by pointing out that he isn't be best singer.
However she then told him: "I'm afraid you're going to be spending a lot more time with me... because you're going through!"
The news prompted tears from the young lad - who scurried off for a video chat with his mum.
Paul wowed with his rendition of - but still Mel had reservations.
"I feel like the public are going to miss out on so much if you don't give your personality too," she told him - before giving him the old switcheroo.
"Based on that, I've had to make my decision... I am taking you through to the live shows!"
She told Andrea that he made everyone "happy" when he performed - and quickly put the fan favourite through.
The Italian is also currently the bookies' favourite for the win, by the way - on odds of 5/2.
The six remaining live show contestants will be revealed this evening.
