Nicolas Sarkozy's Strimmers Delay X Factor Filming
Former French PM's gardeners drown out Louis Walsh's segments...
The filming of The X Factor has reportedly been disrupted by former French PM Nicolas Sarkozy's gardeners.
The Mirror newspaper reports that Louis Walsh's judges' houses segment was being filmed at a hired £10.5m mansion in St Tropez - next door to a property owned by Sarko and his wife Carla Bruni.
And the show's director was forced to yell cut when the politician's gardeners fired up their hedge strimmers during filming.
A source said: "The team were filming by the pool and in the gardens but every time they tried to shoot they were interrupted by the noise from garden strimmers next door.
"It's not unusual for neighbours to be politely asked to keep the noise down but the neighbours aren't usually the former French president.
"They were asked very politely by show producers if they could hold off on the work until filming finished the next day and they kindly agreed."
Louis was being assisted by Nicole Appleton and Sinitta at the critical juncture of the show.
