Only The Young became the latest act to exit the X Factor last night (22 November).

The four-piece received the fewest number of votes following their performance in this week’s Elton John vs Whitney Houston-themed show.

The group sang Something About The Way You Look Tonight, where they ended their pop rendition of Elton John’s classic by spraying their mentor Louis Walsh with silly string.

After the verdict of the public vote, the group said: “We are just so grateful for everybody who has kept us in the competition so far.”

Louis praised the group, saying that they’re ”great, great kids to work with.”

Last night’s show also featured performances from French DJ David Guetta and Emeli Sandè, who performed What I Did For Love.

A second act will be sent home in tonight’s results show (23 November), where Labyrinth and Take That will take to the stage before a sing-off with the bottom two acts.
