Robbie Williams Couldn't Do Gary Barlow's X Factor Job
The Rock DJ star claims he would find being a judge "too difficult"...
According to The Mirror, Williams admitted at his LA mansion when helping Barlow pick his final four contestants: "I’d like to be in Gary’s position for one night, but not four months.”
The 37-year old continued: "I was sat thinking ‘wow, this is great’. But that’s all it is, a great day. I’ve got my personality to look after, if I was doing it I would desensitise myself to the emotion."
Williams added: “I would find it difficult, who wants to break a 16-year-old’s heart?”
Robbie then went on to describe X Factor as "the biggest thing in the universe when it’s on a roll”, claiming that Gary wasn't yet feeling the pressure of his new role: "He’s not temperamental and emotional. He does the job and leaves.”
Viewers will see Barlow and Robbie chose between The Boys - Craig Colton, 22, Joe Cox, 17, James Michael, 20, Luke Lucas, 16, Marcus Collins, 23, Max Vickers, 19, Frankie Cocozza, 18 and John Wilding, 18 - on The X Factor this weekend.
Meanwhile in other related news, Gary, Robbie and the rest of the Take That lads are said to have made a cool £7million in just six months, earning the majority of the cash from their Progress tour.
A source told The Mirror: "Touring has seen the band’s finances rocket. It was very, very lucrative and it’s little wonder they have so much in the bank between them.”
We are pretty sure a stint on The X Factor also helped…
