Sharon Osbourne Joins X Factor Judges In First Pic

Dermot O'Leary has tweeted the first snap of Sharon Osbourne with her fellowGary Barlow at the first day of auditions in Glasgow.

He accompanied the photograph with the caption: "And so it begins…"

Osbourne was announced as former panellist Tulisa's replacement last month, with Sharon saying at the time: "I couldn’t be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of X Factor.

"I can’t wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!”

While The X Factor kicked off in Glasgow, Tulisa was arrested today for her role in an alleged class A drug deal, which was set up by an undercover reporter for The Sun.

A rep for the ITV show has since told BBC Newsbeat that "the two stories are unconnected" in relation to her departure from the XF panel.
