Simon Cowell Bans X Factor Sob Stories

He’s fed up of journeys…

Simon Cowell has reportedly banned sob stories on The X Factor this series.

Viewers of the talent show are used to hearing about contestants’ back-stories and problems they have overcome.
But according to the judge and show boss, there will be no more sad tales from the hopefuls.
He told the Daily Mail: “I banned the word journey because that was a key part of it all. We got too much of this 'I'm doing it for my mum who broke her ankle' nonsense.”
You have got to have some sort of control in there, but at the end of the day you want to have the personalities through so it's fun."
He continued: “They are entering the music business for all the right reasons, and that is not to sit in the library till three in the morning.”
And Si’ also said he want the contestants to have fun along the way, and even have sex.
These kids who come here, they are young guys and they should be making noise, having fun and going out,” he explained. “And I can't tell people when they can and can't have sex.”
The X Factor continues tomorrow as the final 32 acts head to the ‘judges houses’ before the judges pick their final artists.
