Simon Cowellhas publicly invited Sinead O'Connor to appear as a guest on The X Factor in the wake of [uuid=ce5a17f8-b201-46ff-8418-386620eec353]her recent public row[/uuid] with Miley Cyrus.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer has been in the headlines after writing an open letter to Miley offering advice from her own experience with the music industry - and then following it up with more instalments when Miley reacted negatively.
She also hit out at SiCo and his shows - claiming that he has "murdered music".

But the canny reality TV mogul has chosen to turn the other cheek, and tweeted: "I think sinead o'connor would be a real fun guest judge on X factor. She loves the show and everything I do. Let me know sinead."
He previously made a similar offer to Sting after the star criticised his shows and their effect on music, but he was not taken up on it.
Sinead wrote: "Because of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh — they've murdered music. I stand to say it on behalf of every musician in the world and they’ll agree with me."
