Simon Cowell 'Overseeing The X Factor Makeover'

Simon Cowell is reported to have flown back to the UK to preside over a "mini makeover" on this weekend's episode of The X Factor.
The Mirror claims that the reality TV supremo is personally overseeing the edit of Saturday and Sunday's shows, following a slide in ratings and criticism that hopefuls don't spend enough time actually singing.
A source told the paper: "This weekend is the first time there are two shows, one on each night, and he is determined they look great and have huge audiences.
"He is sitting through the rough edits and changing bits and pieces where he feels they need it. It's the first time this year he will be really hands-on in the UK."
Last week's show featured just eight minutes of singing over the course of an hour - and the source reckons that could change this weekend.
"Some fans feel there has been too much reality and stuff off the stage so don’t be surprised if there is more singing this week after Cowell has finished his mini makeover," the mole continued.
SiCo yesterday confirmed that he was planning an Olympics-themed episode during the live shows this year.
