Simon Cowell 'Planning X Factor Voting Shake-Up'

League table reportedly set to be made public each week, like in US...

Simon Cowell is reportedly planning a major shake-up for The X Factor next year - with the biggest change being the publication of voting figures each week.
A similar move has already been trialled on the US version of the show, where a league table is revealed in each results show.
And a source told The Sun: "If the viewers knew popular acts like Ella and James Arthur were pulling in low numbers of votes it would encourage them to pick up the phone.
"Revealing the voting numbers each week has really brought a new dynamic to the US show.
"Simon is looking to introduce it in the UK next year as part of a major shake-up."
Voting figures are currently only published in the UK when the series is over.

There was widespread shock when [uuid=10f3cc4e-adfd-4d45-b061-391f40e4baf6]Ella Henderson was sent home[/uuid] at the weekend.
