Simon Cowell is reportedly hoping supermodel Kate Moss will give the show a fashion forward look next year.

It's no secret that this year's series fell behind in the ratings, giving rise to speculation that a [uuid=1c66eaaa-fd0b-48ec-8239-8b1e44b536ac]major overhaul[/uuid] was on the cards.

And according to The Mirror, SiCo is keen to sign the catwalk queen up as a style consultant to give the ITV1 talent show a fashionable edge.

An insider told the paper: "Simon is looking at ways of refreshing the show and one idea he will bring to the table is getting Kate Moss on board.

"He knows how important the styling of the contestants is and having a supermodel and a world-famous name on board would certainly raise the bar."

The source claims Mossy could give the contestants advice and tips not just on how they look throughout the series, but also "how to look after themselves and still look great in the years ahead".

A spokesman for Simon said there were "no firm plans" as yet, but that decisions would be announced following meetings about the show's future in January.
