The X Factor Big Band Week - Song List Revealed

Find out what the remaining hopefuls will be singing tonight...

Big band week is back on The X Factor - and the songs chosen for this week's show have been revealed by ITV in advance of this evening's show.

Brave Andrea Faustini will be taking on Ella Fitzgerald's Summertime, while Lauren Platt will be performing Smile by Nat King Cole.

Only The Young will be singing I Wanna Be Like You from the soundtrack of The Jungle Book.

Ben Haenow will be tackling Cry Me A River - the torch song made famous by Julie London and later revived by Michael Bublé, rather than the Justin Timberlake track of the same name.

Fleur East has given the theme an inventive twist, adapting her memorable audition performance of Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj into a big band number.

And Jay James will also be attempting a new/old mash-up by doing a medley of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' Empire State Of Mind and Frank Sinatra's New York New York.

Which brings up to Stevi Ritchie of course - and this year's "novelty" contender will be pouring on the cheese with a medley of Lou Bega's Mambo No 5 and Ricky Martin's She Bangs.

Did you notice that Stereo Kicks were missing from the list? That's because at the time of writing the boy band had decided to scrap their song choice and go for something else.

They tweeted: "so guys.. we've made a massive decision to change our song after a chat with Louis. we hope 1 day is enough to learn a brand new song!!"

Paul Akister got the boot from the contest last weekend.
