The Only Way Is Essex star Maria Fowler have clashed on Twitter over Carolynne's fellow contestant Kye Sones.
Their virtual war of words erupted after Maria tweeted that chimney sweep Kye had sent her Facebook messages in the past.
She said: "Is this boy called Kye? i swear he used to message me on facebook about 6 years ago."

But Carolynne - who is in the same over-28s group as Kye in the show - leapt to his defence, tweeting: "You wish #giveitarest."
It only got worse after that, with Maria commenting on newly divorced Carolynne: "Obviously a reason she is single at her age."
And she added: "What is your problem... ? i dont understand why you keep tweeting me? your a very strnge person??
"When u actually support someone on xfactor then they tweet sh** like that to u... shame thought she seemed a nice girl.. not the way to act when u want to be a serious artist is it! seems like someones gone big time already and she aint even anywhere near the best in the comp #MUG."
Carolynne simply responded: "Classy young woman!"
