The X Factor Clip Teases 'New Star' Hannah

With just over a day to go until The X Factor returns to our TV screens, the latest teaser clip released suggests that the show may already have found a new star.

Hannah Barrett's performance of Read All About It by Emeli Sandé wows the judges in the one minute and 45 second clip, which is shot in a small audition room rather than the arena used in last year's series.

The judges are seen smiling as she delivers a stirring version of the song which became the theme of London 2012 - but the clip cuts before we hear their comments.

In other X Factor news, Louis Walsh has again been hinting that he might not retire from the panel at the end of this series after all.

He said in a press conference: "You never know. Ten times on one show is a long time. Who knows, I'm having a great time this year. I may come back."

And producer Richard Holloway quipped: "Talk about hedging your bets."
