The X Factor 'Fix' Claims As Deadlock Saves Rylan
Fans suspicious after producer spoke to Louis Walsh during sing-off...
The X Factor fans have been up in arms over a claimed "fix" on last night's show, which saw Carolynne Poole exit in favour of Rylan Clark.
Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and is alleged to have been ordered to send the vote to deadlock - ensuring that controversial Rylan would stay in the show.
The show's executive producer Richard Holloway was spotted talking to Louis during Carolynne's performance to stay in the sing-off, and there has since been an eruption of outrage among fans on Twitter.
After Tulisa and Gary Barlow had both opted to send Rylan home and Nicole Scherzinger had stood by her act, Louis appeared to back Carolynne, saying: "I'm going to go with Carolynne."
But then he appeared to change his mind, or just clarify his meaning, blurting out: "I want to take it to deadlock!"
Because Rylan had received more votes from the public he stayed in the contest.
After the show a screengrab was circulated on Twitter, showing the producer speaking to Louis - which has led to speculation that he was told to send the vote to deadlock.
ITV has made no comment on the matter as yet.
