The X Factor Girl Group Axed Over 'Glassing'

A girl group has reportedly been axed from The X Factor after one of them was alleged to have glassed an ex-boyfriend in a bar.
Four-piece Quantro are claimed by The Sun to have been tipped for success on the ITV1 talent show, after doing well at their audition in Newcastle.
But the paper claims that they found themselves out of the competition just a week later after Lucie Slater was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
It alleges that William Scott Aitken needed medical treatment following the incident at Tiger Tiger bar in Newcastle on June 24 - and that 21-year-old Lucie, from Gateshead, was charged in court two days later.
They were then apparently told by show bosses that they couldn't continue as a three-piece and had to go.
Another member, 20-year-old Hannah Gray, said: "We got fantastic comments from the judges and we are just heartbroken. We have worked so hard to get to where we are.
"We can't thank people enough for their support and that's why the band is going to carry on."
Nicole Scherzinger has joined the judging panel for this year's show.
