The X Factor: Has Marcus Been Having Backstage Botox?
X Factor bosses reportedly come under fire for allowing Marcus Collins to have Botox treatments...
Today's Mirror newspaper reports that the 23-year-old has had a total of four treatments during his time on the show and rumours of jabs gone wrong are swirling.
The paper suggests that Marcus' latest round of facial fillers made it appear as though he had a receding hairline, forcing him to wear a hairpiece on Sunday night's show.
Now medical experts and TV campaigners have slammed the show's bosses.
Lesley Reynolds Khan, of the Harley Street Skin Clinic, told The Mirror: "The people looking after him should be saying No. He has a whole lifetime to worry about lines."
Vivienne Paterson, from Mediawatch, echoed those sentiments, adding: "It's a bad example for young viewers."
An X Factor source denied that Marcus' rumoured backstage Botox was an "official treatment set up by bosses" but claimed the singer had admitted to having jabs.
The insider added: "He is really embarrassed his secret is coming out. He denies having a hairpiece."
