The X Factor: Misha Accused Of Bullying

Johnny and Kitty won praise from the judges on Saturday night's show…

The X Factor judges Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh used last night’s critique of Misha Bryan’s performance to berate her for her backstage behaviour.

After the 19-year-old had sung Prince’s Purple Rain, Tulisa praised her singing but criticised her bullying tactics.

"You are definitely a star of the show," Tulisa said. "But I think you're very competitive and I've seen a different side of you backstage. I think you don't realise that you do it, but in some ways you being so feisty can come off as quite mean to other contestants and I've been told that there's been mean comments towards them.

"I'm not putting you down,” the N-Dubz singer continued. “I'm saying take that feistiness and energy and bring it on the stage. When you get offstage, leave the war behind. Because I think you're going to be amazing, just put aside the attitude."

Louis agreed. "One of my contestants has complained to me about Misha bullying them backstage," he said.

Dermot O'Leary then had to break up a slanging match as Kelly Rowlanddefended her act.

Elsewhere on Rock Week, Louis’ acts Kitty Brucknell and Johnny Robinson both won unanimous praise for their performances. Frankie Cocozza performed Get Your Rocks Off by Primal Scream and his mentor Gary Barlow said he’d improved on last week, but wasn’t too lavish in his praise of the teenager.

“Coming back tonight, to me, that was a comeback,” he told Frankie. “Not an incredible comeback, but a comeback to who you should be. I think you did pretty well tonight.”

The Risk and Sami Brookes also struggled.
