The Louis Walshsummed up the 24-year-old's survival in the contest best when he told him: "Mamma Mia, what a production - I don't think you're a joke act... You're the people's champion."
Tulisatelling him: "The staging was creepy, I didn't understand why you were surrounded by people in their swimwear, I didn't get it.
"I am trying to stop myself from giggling because you want an honest critique but staging wise I did find it almost funny. Vocally I thought you sounded really good."
Meanwhile James Arthur's performance of Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On seemed to get the best reception of the show.
Louis told him: "James that was the vocal performance of the night, you never let us down! To think you were in the bottom two that doesn't make sense. You are world-class talent."
