The X Factor 'Set For Wildcard Twist'
Judges reportedly picking one extra act each for a public vote to stay in...
A new twist is being introduced to this year's The X Factor, with the public reportedly getting the chance to vote a "wildcard" act back into the show after the Judges' Houses stage.
The Sun newspaper claims that as well as selecting the final 12 on this weekend's shows - the four judges will also choose one extra act each to go into a public vote - with the winning act getting the chance to perform alongside the other 12 acts in the first live show.
A source told the paper: "We like to add new twists to the show every year and this time the public get to choose an act to be added to the competition.
"With the standard so high this year, the judges had a tough time choosing their three, so this gives another amazing act the chance to perform on the X Factor stage."
Meanwhile judge Tulisa has lent her support to a campaign to get Joseph Whelan back on the show - after he was cut at the Boot Camp stage.
She told The Huffington Post UK: "I have no idea what the likelihood of that happening is, but I can say everyone wants a bit of eye candy every year and a nice male figure.
"All of the judges have different opinions. Sometimes it's not unanimous and everyone is making different decisions. From the get go I wanted him in the competition.
"I think he's gorgeous but I was battled with on that one. I am actually a Joseph fan so, 'Hey, bring back Joseph'."
Homeless Robbie Hance explained yesterday why he walked out of Boot Camp.
