X Factor Hopefuls Get JLS Boot Camp Pep Talk

But a third of the wannabes are sent home without singing...

This year's JLS.

On tonight's show (22 September), the wannabes are treated to a welcome party where the boyband offer some words of wisdom.

JLS singer Ortise is seen telling the contestants: "This is an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime, so you have to make sure you take it with both hands, you know who wants it the most, and it's who wants it the most that will get it."

But according to the Gary Barlow- who will be joined by Cheryl Cole in the [uuid=bc6347cb-25ac-44b5-84ea-3ea28865508b]judges' houses phase[/uuid] - says: "We've made a good call today and it gives the other two thirds of people who are left a good chance of learning something going forward in this competition."

In other X Factor news, some contestants are already causing concern, it has been claimed.

Show favourites Robbie Hance and Jahmene Douglas are in danger of cracking under the pressure.

The Mirror reports that medical staff began monitoring supermarket worker Jahmene after he suffered panic attacks at Boot Camp.

And homeless singer Robbie was also said to have panicked during his performance and ended up storming off the stage.

A show insider admitted there are "concerns" over some of the contestants, saying: "Clearly nerves got the better of Jahmene. Everyone was really worried about him because he's a gentle young guy who lacks confidence.

"Robbie is a very complex character and isn't coping very well under pressure."

Tune in to ITV1 at 8.10pm for more X Factor Boot Camp drama.
