X Factor Hopefuls Say Rylan Is 'Serious Contender'
Louis Walsh's controversial decision to Gary Barlow.
But former chimney sweep Kye Sones believes Rylan could be his biggest competition.
He told journalists: "I thought Rylan did wicked last week. I was shocked to see him in the bottom two. I thought his performance was wicked, I thought he smashed it."
And Kye insists mentor Gary Barlow hasn't been affected by losing Carolynne Poole on the first show, despite storming out of the studio.
Sones explained: "I think [the walk-out] just shows how much he actually cares. It's not just a Saturday, Sunday job for him.
"All the contestants in the Overs he's very passionate about, so I think that just shows how passionate he was."
The 12 remaining contestants will return tomorrow (13 October) to sing live for the second time.
