X Factor Judges After Seven Figure Salaries?
Show bosses worried pay demands could push it over budget...
The X Factor Judges are set to lock horns with TV bosses as they hold out for higher wages according to reports.
According to The Sun all four of the judges are holding out for seven figure salaries.
Sharon Osbourne is apparently [uuid=3112a7da-d65f-4624-9574-a6e72bf6f78d]coming back[/uuid] after six years away from the show, and looks set secure a salary of somewhere between £1.5 and £2 million.
The paper also claims Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger look set to bag themselves a tidy £1.5 million a piece after agreeing to come back. And Louis Walsh has really made the job his own and agreed to a £1 million pay cheque.
However the paper says ITV bosses are worried that such high salary demands will send the already expensive show over budget.
A source said: “We know returning judges cost more. It's what happens if you negotiate every series.
"If there's a hold-up, it could mean someone is not given a judging role and it's back to the drawing board.”
A spokesman for The X Factor said: “No formal decisions have been taken.”
