X Factor Rylan: 'I Want Gary Barlow Duet'
Controversial singer wants to team up with his nemesis in final...
Gary Barlow for a duet if he makes it to the final.
The 24-year-old singer has had a series of on-air run-ins with Take That star Gaz, who has repeatedly criticised Rylan for outlasting better singers in the contest.
But Rylan now claims he wants to team up with his nemesis, telling Metro: "If I was to get to the final I'd be honoured to duet with Barlow.
"I think that would be a television moment. It would definitely go down in history if me and 'Borelow' duet together, 100 per cent."
And Rylan also hinted that relations between himself and Gary had already thawed to some extent.
"I've spoken to Gary. Gary loved it, he's banter Barlow, I love Gary.
"He's the sort of person that if he dishes it out he's got to expect it back and he totally gets that."
Meanwhile, James Arthur's mum Shirley is leading a campaign to mobilise support for her son - following his appearance in the final two on Sunday.
She tweeted: "I can't bare to see my boy go through that again. #Vote:)x"
She later told The Mirror: "I must have answered 3,000 messages. Twitter is alive with the hashtag #Jarmy and James Arthur street teams are up and running across the UK.
"It is like organising an army."
