According to Digital Spy, there will be no sing-off for the unfortunate acts in the bottom two on Sunday - with the public vote deciding who will battle it out to be crowned this year's champion.
Tulisa Contostavlos' act Little Mix are desperate to end the notorious bad run of girlband's in the competition, telling Entertainment Wise: "I think it'll be nice for us to win because a girl group has never done it before."
They explained: "It would be a nice change and I just think we've stayed ourselves the whole way through and it would be nice for Tulisa as well."
Perrie Edwards - who is rumoured to be dating One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik - also said in a recent Q&A session: "I think if we win the competition we'd like to go on holiday and we'll take our mums with us."
She added: "We'd like to spend some time with our families because we've missed them so much."
As well as one act having to leave the show, X Factor judge Kelly Rowland and Justin Bieberare also set to perform on Sunday's results show.
