X Factor's Matt "Fears He Will Lose Voice"

The 27-year old singer has a sore throat ahead of Saturday's semi-final...

The X Factor favourite Matt Cardle reportedly fears that he will lose his voice before this weekend's semi-final, after being struck down with a sore throat.
The 27-year old missed a secret gig in London with the rest of the XF finalists last night, as he was "too ill" to perform.
Matt, who is said to have almost lost his voice, told The Sun: "I've got my fingers crossed [for Saturday]."

He continued: "Everyone's been a bit down health wise. I was recording earlier and it was getting quite painful so I had to curtail it until Saturday and I hope it's alright."
One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik also missed the gig for personal reasons, following reports that a member of his family had fallen ill.
Bandmate Liam Payne told the tabloid: "Zayn's got some personal problems at the moment so we're not really going to speak about that at the moment but he's going to be alright."
Despite Payne remaining tight-lipped about Zayn's absence, a show insider added: "One of Zayn's family members has health problems so he couldn't perform but we are hoping he will be back to sing in Saturday's semi-final."
As Mailk allegedly headed home to Bradford, the remaining XF contestants performed at Hospital Club in Covent Garden, attended by competition winners.
In other XF news, Matt and Rebecca Ferguson have reportedly had enough of hopeful, Cher Lloyd, telling her they are "sick of her diva tantrums."
OK! magazine also claims that the 17-year old has been branded as the new Katie Waissel, after the rest of the finalists think she is being favoured by music mogul Simon Cowell.
