X Factor's Nicholas Disappointed With Louis
Talent show runner-up resented his mentor supporting rival Sam Bailey...
Nicholas McDonald has voiced his dissatisfaction with his mentor on the show Louis Walsh for backing rival Sam Bailey on final night.
The 17-year-old finished in second position in Sunday's live final at Wembley Arena, and has now told the Daily Mail that he was disappointed by Louis' betrayal.
"I was disappointed with Louis saying, 'Vote for Sam and her single everyone'. It felt like Sam was getting all the love," he said.
And he also vented his spleen at judge Gary Barlow, who he accused of having it in for him.
"Gary had a problem with me throughout the whole show. He never seemed to like me and whenever I gave a good performance he would pick up on the smallest things in the world."
And the teenager's mum Eileen joined in his criticism of Gazza and Louis.
"It was completely unprofessional, Gary refusing to stand after Nicholas's song," she said.
"As for Louis, I don't know what that was about and it was rude of him. He should have been backing his own act and not encouraging the public to vote for their opponent.
"I think Louis just speaks without thinking sometimes."
Sam Bailey appears to be on track to score the Christmas No 1 spot in the Official UK Singles Chart.
